Why is the theory of evolution so important in understanding how human beings behave?
Which questions do you think evolutionary theory cannot answer?
Evolution is important to us human beings because evolution in turn defines who we are as homo sapiens, it explains how we simply came to be. Evolution is the process to which species evolves into a more complex form of species over time. The understanding of evolution is so important in understanding how we as humans behave because it shows the development of our minds and how it has progressed through out time. I believe it is one of the foundations to the creations of life. In the film "The Genius of Charles Darwin" Professor Richard Dawkins states that " it is the explantation of our existence...because everything we know about life is explained by it" (GCD) Just thinking back to the early times of life, possibly during Socrates 470-400 B.C. many believe in the existence of Gods such as Zeus, Athena, Poseidon and many more. Now in our time, most have shied away from the belief of the Greek Gods and now believe in Jesus Christ as our savior. No matter what one might believe in God, evolution, Greek Gods etc. the clear evidence of us as humans, even from just 50 years ago we evolve. Think of yourself a just 5 years ago, do you believe you have changed? Do you believe your body has changed? Maybe added wrinkles, grey hair, baldness, whatever it may be is evidence in it self that we as humans evolve. The point being that we has humans are constantly evolving, wether it be in terms of the way we think, look or even sometimes religion. Evolution is one of the keys to our human existence and progression throughout life.

Which questions do you think evolutionary theory cannot answer?
I believe one of the biggest questions that evolutionary theory cannot answer is how did we all come to be? Where did we originate from? Who came first man or woman? If Charles Darwin believes in evolution and believes that we as humans develop and evolve over time how long does this evolution take? What is the time process of evolution? In the film "The Darwin-Wallace Debate" Alfred Wallace believed differently than Darwin. Wallace believed that "human conscienceless specifically was at such a high order of organizations that natural selection was insufficient to explain" Darwin believed much differently. Darwin believed that "We must, however, acknowledge, as it seems to me, that man with all his noble qualities... still bears in his bodily frame the indelible stamp of his lowly origin." There are many things that we as humans cannot explain within our existence. Some leaving us completely with no answers however, that in fact is where I believe God is to answer. God has created many things here on earth from living and non-living things that even one as Charles Darwin will never be able to answer.
