Why is it important to understand physics and the general rules of the universe?
Understanding physics and the general rules of the universe are important in philosophy because Philosophy is derived from concepts of critical thinking and mathematics for a given problem. In addition, the search for greater knowledge and the ability of time and space to be webbed together to form space time which can bend and stretch gives those the ability to have a greater understanding and ability to further discover a greater understanding of the rules of the universe.
What is eliminative materialism?
Eliminative Materialism is to further comprehend an ability of an action in the form of empiricism rather than knowledge passed down from generations to generations. For example, as us homo sapiens further enhance out knowledge of the cosmos we find that the earlier stories of the gods can be better explained by their actions of lightening and thunder and rain and other factors scientifically rather than god is the one to blame
