My name is Alex Salgado & I'm 20 years old. This is my first semester here at Mt. SAC. I was actually going to school at Humboldt but recently moved back down. Right now I'm majoring in Biology and plan on transferring back to a 4-year to get my Bachelors. After that, I'll most likely be going to medical schoo
I enjoy spending free time with my family and friends, listening to music and being outdoors. I'm pretty outgoing for the most part and I love meeting and talking to new people. I do tend to be shy sometimes and can be pretty introverted once in a while. I'm not really a party person, I'd much rather spend time with a small group of people because I feel it's easier to get to know people that way. I like to stay active, so I do go to the gym very often and if I don't I'll probably go for a hike or even just a run around the neighborhood. I also spend a lot of time reading. When I first started college a couple of years ago I was so lost as to what I wanted to do and wasn't too motivated for school. Now that I have a better sense of what I want to do and am a lot more motivated, I'm excited to see where my studies will take me!
