1. Why is the theory of evolution so important in understandinghow human beings behave?
In the film 'Evolution explained in 4 Minutes,' it gives us break down of some of our genetic makeup. The theory of evolution gives us an opportunity to understand how and why our unique genetic book is so configured. The theory of evolution can help us look at our history, and how humans have evolved and adapted. This knowledge and information will be able to help us explain human behavior. The theory of evolution also allows to look at specifically our brain and our neural makeup. When studying the brain, it can give us a better understanding of why we do the things that we do, our behavior, and our consciousness. In the book DNA Consciousness, it introduces us to a very intelligent neuroscientist, Karl Friston, who claims to have come up with a theory that provides clarity to the "gray matter" in our lives, like the question why for example. He would not have been able to do this without studying first the theory of evolution.
2. Which questions do you think evolutionary theory cannot answer?
Where did the very first atom come from?
How is everyone created in their own way? How is itthat none of us are alike? How is genetics able to create a different face each time?
If we do not have a soul, then how does one explain our conscious and subconscious?
