WEEK 5
1. Why is the theory of evolution so important in understanding how human beings behave?
The theory of evolution is so important in understanding how human beings behave because we need to understand how as time has gone by people and human beings have evolved and improved not only physically but also their minds as well. Over the years we have found ways to better our living conditions and survive better. Darwin’s theory talks about this understanding and supports it as well. We are not like animals where they have to fend for themselves through out their lives and kill others to survive and live their life. As time passes gradually humans find ways to evolve and adapt and live by climbing the natural selection rank and have found ways to survive things that animals wouldn’t know how to survive. The mind and thought process play a big important role to human beings evolving and adapting through out time.
WEEK 6
2. Which questions do you think evolutionary theory cannot answer?
For the most part the evolutionary theory answers any questions that I would have. I feel that for people who are more religious they might have some questions about this theory. A simple question like how were humans created I would say that religious people believe one thing and the theory of evolution believes another. I feel that both theories and beliefs cannot be proven so that might lead to many questions about the human being developing through out time.
